Our practice

Care that is unhurried, collaborative, and real.

Segall Therapeutics is the private practice of Devora and Binyomin Segall. We work with individuals and couples across New York and New Jersey, in person and by secure telehealth.

Our philosophy

You shouldn't have to perform wellness to be helped.

We start from a simple belief: people aren't broken — they're carrying things that were too much, too fast, or too alone. Most of what brings people to therapy is an intelligent attempt to survive something. Our job is to honor that, then help it loosen.

That's why our work is collaborative. You set the pace. We bring evidence-based tools — IFS, EMDR, SEP, EFT, and DBT — but the map is drawn together, in the room, with you.

And we believe therapy should lead somewhere. Not just fewer bad days, but more of what makes a life feel like yours: steadier relationships, a body that can rest, and the quiet confidence that you can handle what comes.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)EMDRDBT skills

Devora works with women who are carrying more than anyone can see. She helps clients process trauma using Internal Family Systems and EMDR — approaches that let painful experiences be revisited safely, at a pace the nervous system can actually tolerate.

Devora also helps women build what comes next: using DBT skills to regulate overwhelming emotions, tolerate distress, and construct a life that genuinely feels worth living. She has a particular heart for mothers — women struggling inside the role of mom, where the love and the depletion so often live side by side.

Her sessions are warm and direct. You will be taken seriously, and so will your hope for your own life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)Somatic Experiencing (SEP)EFT for couples

Binyomin helps individuals process trauma through Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing — tending both to the story of what happened and to the way it lives on in the body. His work is unhurried and deeply respectful of each person's protective instincts.

With couples, Binyomin practices Emotionally Focused Therapy. Instead of rehashing arguments, he helps partners see the cycle they're caught in — who pursues, who withdraws, and the tender feelings underneath both — and find their way back to each other.

Whether in individual or couples work, his goal is the same: to help people feel less alone with what they're carrying.
